Trick or Treat! - Sizzix Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my happy place! I hope you're having a wonderful and creative day.

With Halloween fast approaching I felt that it was time for me to play with my Halloween dies from Sizzix UK and this is my second card.

For today's project I used the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 7PK - Claw Marks designed by the amazing Tim Holtz and I went with a clean and simple look!



First I prepared a white panel and run it through my Big Shot machine using the Claw Marks dies. Then I look through my pattern paper stash for some designs that would work with my idea and I found two papers from Pebbles - Boo Collection - Halloween - 6 x 6 Paper Pad. First I chose the black one with grey skulls and I mounted my white panel over it, arranging for the skulls to be seen through the claw marks. Then I glued it to the black paper with white spider webs.
Next I stamped in VersaMark and white heat embossed two sentiments from the Create a Smile - Creepy Cute stamp set on two green strips of cardstock and added them to the card. 
And that was all! Now I have a new Halloween card! :) 

I am not a big fan of really scary Halloween cards and this is why I chose a clean and simple look. Love how this card turned out!
