Blossom in Circles - WOW! Embossing Powder Handmade Card
Hi everyone and welcome back to my happy space! I'm so excited to share with you my new CAS card showcasing a couple of the fabulous WOW! stamp sets and embossing powders.
I created this card to play along with the "Favourite WOW! Stamps" theme for the Wow! Embossing Powder Facebook Fan Group page monthly challenge - ❤ WOW Embossing Powder Fans ❤
https://www.facebook.com/groups/WOWEPFans/
For my card I played with the gorgeous Blossom - Clear Stamp Set and the must have Just Saying (by Marion Emberson) - Clear Stamp Set, the fabulous WS121 Midnight Dream embossing glitter, along with the WL01 Bright White, the awesome WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock - A5, WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock - A4, along with these WOW must have tools WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool - Euro and WOW! Premium Embossing Craft Mat.
I started my card by preparing a white card base from WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock - A5. I absolutely love this cardstock! It's just a smooth, bright white and it's perfect for heat embossing and for coloring with alcohol markers! Definitely a must have in every crafter's stash!
Next on a light pink panel I heat embossed the Blossom - Clear Stamp Set using the WS121 Midnight Dream embossing glitter. This embossing powder is gorgeous and so sparkly!
Using the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles and another die set with smaller circle dies, I die cut the embossed panel into different circle sizes. Next I die cut a rectangle frame from navy blue cardstock using the Create a Smile Cool Cuts Stitched Rectangle Frames set and glued it to the white card base.
Next I adhered the circles to the base using liquid glue for the little ones and foam tape for the bigger ones.
Using the Sizzix Bigz Die - Pretty Climber I die cut some flourish from vellum and adhered it to the card. On a yellow strip of cardstock I white embossed the "Thanks" word included in the Just Saying (by Marion Emberson) - Clear Stamp Set and mounted it on the card.
I glued a few holographic jewels and my card was done.
Super easy to create and with such a fabulous result!
That's all from me today! Have a lovely week!
