Mix It Up Challenge #49 - SugarPea Designs Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog!
Hope you're having a wonderful day.

For today I have a new card showcasing quite a few goodies from SugarPea Designs: Llama Just Say, Wagon Wishes, Sending Sentiments and Cuddly Cacti STAMPtember Exclusive stamp sets, the SugarCut - Llama Just Say and the SugarCut - Card Front Element Builder die sets.
I made this card for the current challenge over at SugarPea Designs blog. This month is Mix It Up Challenge #49 and below you can see the sketch and/or the inspiration photo:

This time I played with the lovely inspiration photo and I started by preparing a white card base.

As I've previously said, I'm into watercoloring backgrounds and I've had this panel ready to be used on a card. I've just added white splatters all over it and die cut the it using the scalloped rectangle die. I mounted the panel onto the card base using craft foam.

Then I die cut a white panel using the same die and die cut it again using the hill die included in the "SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder" die set, creating two hills. I adhered the hills on the card and moved to the coloring part.
I stamped the images on a white panel and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. Next I die cut them and mounted them on the card using foam tape.

On 2 strips of purple cardstock I white embossed two sentiments and mounted them on the card.
On the cute cactus I added some Nuvo Drops as the Christmas ornaments and I love that I could use products that aren't really for the Holidays and make them Christmassy. This way you can use more of your stamps and that is always a good thing.
