Mix It Up Challenge #57 - SugarPea Designs Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog!
I hope you're having a wonderful day.

Welcome to the monthly Mix It Up challenge for SugarPea Designs
You have all month to play along with us and remember the more times you play along during the month using SugarPea Designs product, the better chance you have of winning a $50 gift certificate to our store!
Here is this month's Mix it Up Challenge!

For my card I played with quite a few goodies from the SugarPea Designs shop: Mermaid Kisses stamp set and its coordinating die set SugarCut Mermaid Kisses, the SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder, the SugarCut Sentiment Strips die sets, along with the fabulous new Wave Stencil and I followed the sketch and the color combo for my card.

First I die cut a panel from white cardstock using the scalloped rectangle die included in the SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder, I masked the panel leaving a circle in the center and ink blended the Wave Stencil using different blue shades of inks.

On a white panel I stamped the cute mermaid from the Mermaid Kisses stamp set and colored it with alcohol markers. After the coloring was done I die cut the image using its coordinating die from the SugarCut Mermaid Kisses and mounted it on the card.
I also die cut a strip from light blue cardstock using a die included in the SugarCut Sentiment Strips die set and stamped a sentiment on it.
I mounted the strip on the card, following the sketch.
I glued a few sequins, adhered the panel on a light blue card base and my card was done.
