Monster Birthday CAS card - Create a Smile Stamps

Hi friends!
Today I want to show you a card that I made with a cute freebie from Create a Smile Stamps and with a sentiment freebie from them.
If you want to save it to your computer and color it, you can find it here

With this card I want to participate in the November Guest Designer Call over at Create a Smile Stamps blog.
Also, I would love to participate in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

I really wanted to give the impression that the 3 monsters are different, so the middle one I printed it bigger and I added only one googlie eye :). Plus I colored them differently.

For coloring I used my Inktense Pencils, 2 Coloursoft Derwent pencils and one Faber Castell Eco pencil.
I have a short list with the colors from dark to light):

Pink: 600, 520 (Inktense), C200, C190 (Coloursoft)
Yellow: 240, 230, 210 (Inktense)
Blue: 840, 1200 (Inktense), Turquoise (Faber Castell Eco)

For the dots and teeth I used a White Signo gel pen. Then I decided that they need a little something more, so I added a black dot as a nose to every single one of them.

The yellow monster is fuzzy cut and mounted on some foam tape.

On their legs, hair and on the sentiment I added some Wink of Stella. After that I added a strip of pattern paper, some sequins and I mounted this panel on some grey card stock.
And my card is done :).

I hope you enjoyed my new card and that you'll try and participate in the November Guest Designer Call. Maybe you'll be the lucky one (although, I kinda hope that the lucky one will be me :D ).
Okay, see you next time!
xx

  3. Oh WOW I am so impress with your coloring of these adorable monsters Raluca! It's so stunning! I love the strokes in them. The Inktense is truly made them so vibrant. I've heard about it from my daughter's art teacher and was debating about getting them since I only been coloring with Copic. But seeing you did this I think I'm going to get them. They're so wonderful to create cute kids' cards! Thanks so much for sharing Raluca and good luck with your entry for the GDT call.
