Sunshine for you - Sizzix Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my happy place! I hope you're having a wonderful and creative day.

For today I have a card made with a new die set from the latest release from Sizzix, called Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 13PK - Rainy Days & Sunshine #2.

For this card I went with clean design and a simple shaker element. From the die set I used one cloud and the sun and I love how well they go together. You can create so many scenes with this set.

First I prepared a panel from white cardstock and I run it through my Big Shot machine using the sun die creating the shaker window and I stamped a sentiment that felt right below it. 

Next, I glued a piece of acetate behind the sun window. I added some foam tape and the yellow seed beads and I adhered it to another white panel. 

Then, I die cut a light blue cloud and a white one. I glued the white cloud over the blue one, leaving just a small border of it one to see. I mounted it just a little over the sun as the sun was coming out from the clouds.

I added a blue with white polka dots pattern paper strip and I glued a few clear sequins with yellow seed beads on my panel. 

Glued the panel on a white card base and my card was done.
