You Matter - Sizzix Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my happy place! I hope you're having a wonderful and creative day.

For today I have a second card made with a new die set from the latest release from Sizzix, called Sizzix Thinlits Die - Antique Doily and the beautiful stamp and die set called Sizzix Framelits Die w/Stamp - Wild Butterfly.

First, I prepared my card base from a light grey cardstock. I added a some black splatters all over it for more effect. Next, I prepared a smaller panel from watercolor cardstock. I stamped on it the butterfly in turquoise and navy blue Distress Ink.

After I stamped it I sprayed with a mini sprayer clean water all over it and I enjoyed the colors spreading. 

I waited for the panel to dry and then I stamped the sentiment.

Next I die cut the doily and cut some pieces from it and glued them behind my small panel. I adhered it on the card base using craft foam, added a few silver sequins and my card was done.
