Mix It Up Challenge #46 - SugarPea Designs Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog!
Hope you're having a wonderful day.

For today I have a new card showcasing quite a few goodies from SugarPea Designs: Chic Wishes stamp set, the SugarCut – LondonScape die and the SugarCut – Geo Floral CoverPlate die.

I made this card for the current challenge over at SugarPea Designs blog. This month is Mix It Up Challenge #46 and below you can see the sketch and/or the inspiration photo:

This time I played with both the sketch and the inspiration photo for my card and I started by preparing a light grey card base.

Next, I cut a yellow panel and glued it to the grey card base. Then I die cut the SugarCut – Geo Floral CoverPlate die from white cardstock and adhered it to the yellow panel using liquid glue.

Next I die cut from black cardstock the SugarCut – LondonScape die and adhered it to the card. I also trimmed a strip from black glitter cardstock and glued it below the cityscape.
On a white cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Chic Wishes stamp set and embossed it using a gorgeous glittery black embossing powder. Next I cut it as a banner, trimmed two other banners (in black and dark grey) and mounted them on the card.
I glued a few holographic jewels and my card was done!
