Moroccan Tiles - Sizzix Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog! I hope you're having a wonderful and creative day.

For today I have a card made with a new die set from the latest release from Sizzix, called Sizzix Thinlits Die - Moroccan Tile.

Such a gorgeous design and so versatile! You can make it the focal point of the card or you ca hide behind some flowers or stamped images for a bigger effect. 

For this card I use the die as the focal point and I die cut it from colored cardstock that can be used either for a masculine card or a feminine one.

First thing I die cut it from white cardstock 4 times and I glued them together for more dimension. Then, I die cut it once from light yellow cardstock and once from light grey cardstock.

On a white panel I glued the white frame die cut and then I filled out the open spaces of it with the colored tiles. I just glued them randomly trying to make it look pleasant to the eye.

Next I stamped a sentiment from Create a Smile Stamps in grey ink next to the die cut and I added a few clear sequins on the panel. 

The final step was to mount the panel on a dark grey cardstock and my card was done.
