Prehistoric Birthday - SugarPea Designs Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog! Hope you're having a wonderful day.

For today I have a new card showcasing the Prehistoric Pals stamp set from SugarPea Designs. 

I made this card for the current challenge over at SugarPea Designs blog. This month is Mix It Up Challenge #33 and below you can see the sketch and/or the inspiration photo:

This time I chose the sketch for my card and I begun by die cutting a white panel with the largest stitched rectangle from Simon Says Stamp. 

Then, on a white cardstock, I stamped in Distress Ink Black Soot the images for my card. I colored them with Nuvo markers in some bright and happy colors and fussy cut them with my scissors.

Next, I die cut a white circle using dies from Sizzix and I added color using the ink blending technique. I chose Chipped Sapphire for a night sky so it would fit with the sentiment and the card idea. I die cut another white circle and I run it through my Big Shot using a hills die set from My Favorite Things. I colored the hills with Distress Ink Mowed Lawn and glued them to the night sky circle.

Next, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of my white panel. 

Then I started adhering everything to my panel. I mounted the circle on it and the images on the circle. To complete the sketch I drawn a curved line on the top of my panel and glued 3 triangles cut with Sizzix dies (links to the products used down below). 

And my card is all done and pretty.
