If flowers could hug - Essentials by Ellen Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog! Hope you're having a wonderful day.

Today I want to share with you a new card made with the absolutely gorgeous Mondo Peony stamp set from Ellen Hutson designed by Julie Ebersole. This set is simply gorgeous!!! And you can pair it with the Lovely sentiment stamp set, also by Julie Ebersole. 

I'm in love! Seriously!

First, I die cut a panel from watercolor cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle from Create a Smile die set.

Next, helped by masking and my Misti, I stamped the flowers and leaves on the panel.

Then, I painted the images using some Stabilo watercolor pencils and I painted the flowers in a very light shade of apricot pink. 

After I was done coloring, I mounted the panel on to an apricot card base using craft foam.

Next, I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment on a black strip and added it to the card. I also added a gold strip under the sentiment plus a few clear sequins and my card was done. 

Super easy, but with a wow result, all thanks to the beautiful flowers.
