Today it's your day - Sizzix Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my happy place! I hope you're having a wonderful and creative day.

For today I have a new card for Sizzix UK using two new beautiful die sets called Sizzix Thinlits Die - Antique Doily and Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 11PK - Brush Numbers.

I wanted a simple, yet elegant card so the Antique Doily was perfect for it! 

I started by preparing a panel from light blue cardstock and mounted it on to a white card base. 

Next, I die cut one doily from white cardstock, cut two parts of it and glued them in two corners. 

Then, I die cut the word from the Brush Numbers die set 3 times using black cardstock and glued them together on the panel. I also complete the sentiment with a stamp from SSS.

For more effect I added a few white splatters all over the panel and I blended some white ink on random spots on the panel.

That's it! Quite easy, right?! But I find the result really elegant!
