GUEST DESIGNER / Pretty Peonies - SugarPea Designs Handmade Card

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog! I hope you are having a wonderful and creative day!

I'm excited to be back with a new card showcasing the first floral stamp set from SugarPea Designs " Pretty Peonies", the awesome new die set SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder and the beautiful Sugar & Spice Patterned Paper Collection.

The images in this set are absolutely gorgeous and you can create some amazing cards with them. For today's post I created a clean and simple card, that it's easy to make and doesn't involve too much coloring. 

I think that this set it's perfect either if you love coloring or you don't and I love it. The flowers have a lot of details that look beautiful without the coloring and that makes this set perfect for the crafters that don't enjoy coloring!

For creating this card the first step was to die cut two panels, one from a white cardstock and the second one from a pattern paper using the scalloped rectangle die. I glued the pattern paper on a white card base and I die cut the white panel using the corner die from the 

SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder and then I mounted it on the card.

Next I stamped the flower on a white cardstock in Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers. After the coloring was done, I placed my image back in the Misti and stamped again in VersaMark and white embossed it for a finished look. Next I fussy cut the image using a sharp pair of scissors and moved to the sentiment. 

After I white embossed the sentiment on a grey strip of cardstock, I mounted the beautiful flower and the sentiment on the panel.

To finish my project I glued a few clear sequins to the panel, I added Wink of Stella all over my image and my card was done.
