SugarPea Designs - Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome back to my crafty space. 


It’s time for SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop ! Now that so many of you have our Spring Release in your hot little hands, the awesome DT members have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possibilities featuring the newest and hottest products! And I'm so excited to be a part of this!


For my card I chose 4 of the new products and I created a cute parisian scene. I played with Ooh La La! stamp set and its coordinating dies SugarCut – Ooh La La, the gorgeous SugarCut – ParisScape die and the so versatile Postage Stamp Cover Plate die set.

I started my card by die cutting a white panel with the smaller rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Cover Plate die set, I ink blended it using two different Memento Inks and mounted it onto a white card base using craft foam.


Next I die cut the SugarCut – ParisScape from white cardstock and mounted it on the card using foam squares. To complete the background scene I trimmed a black strip of cardstock and glued it below the Paris cityscape.


To add some cuteness to my project I stamped, colored and die cut the adorable Mac & Cheese image from the Ooh La La! and adhered it to the card. Then I stamped on a white strip of cardstock the perfect sentiment for the image from the same stamp set and mounted it on the card.
I added a few clear sequins, a red heart and my card was done.

    Super cute! My daughter loves macaroni and cheese so I've GOT to make her a card with these cuties! Great job and I love how nicely you colored the pasta....so realistic!

    I love how you made the little mustachioed noodle look like he's wearing a pinstripe suit! That is adorable, and it works perfectly with the feel of the stamp set. The background you made is a gorgeous ombre as well; I just really enjoy all the elements of this card. Thanks so much for sharing!
