Wish Big - Sizzix Handmade Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my happy place! I hope you're having a wonderful and creative day.

For today I have a new card made with the awesome die set from the new release from Sizzix UK, called Sizzix Sidekick Side-Order Set - Birthday, designed by Tim Holtz and the amazing new Sizzix Framelits Die Set 9PK - Tags.

I started my card by preparing a white card base and drawing a black line all around it.

Next I die cut a tag using one die from the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 9PK - Tags set. I die cut it from a watercolored panel by my daughter.

I run the tag through my Big Shot and embossed it using the mini embossing folder included in the Sizzix Sidekick Side-Order Set - Birthday die set. I added some black & white twine and mounted it on the card base using foam tape.

Then I die cut another tag using the scalloped circle tag from vellum paper and glued it to the big tag. I die cut the wish word from the Sizzix Sidekick Side-Order Set - Birthday die set and mounted it on the vellum tag using orange craft foam.

To complete the sentiment I white embossed the big word on a black strip of cardstock and mounted it below the wish word. 

I glued a few wood stars for a more masculine feel and my card was done.
