03 - Card Design Superstar Contest 2018 - MFT Stamps

Hi crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog! Hope you're having a wonderful and creative day.

This card is for the amazing Card Design Superstar Contest – 2018 where you can be one of the 15 lucky winners to win a $250 voucher from My Favorite Things!!! 

This marks my third year of playing in this super awesome contest and I know that I'll have so much fun!



There are 3 categories and today I show you my card for the Innovation Master category. I created a double slider card, adding a cute twist: an action wobble on the adorable dog playing with the Christmas ornaments.

First I prepared all the parts for the double slider card and I had a look on the very informative video that Stephanie Klauck uploaded on the MFT Youtube channel: Creating an Interactive Gift Card Surprise and followed all the instructions for the process. With her help and the new and cool Die-namics Double Slider Loop Slots everything went smoothly! 

I ink blended all my panels using blue inks and added white splatters for the snow.

To build all my little scenes I played with the super cute BB Happy Pawlidays stamp set, the Die-namics Stitched Snow Drifts die set and the new Die-namics Scallop Cross-Stitch Bookmark die (for the little handle tab).

After I colored the images with Spectrum Noir markers and die cut them and the snow hills, I adhered everything in their places. For the center dog I use a fun action wobble and I love how the dog looks all wobbling!

And here's where the magic happens, when you gently pull that little tab the card extends and here's a winter landscape full of festive adorable dogs!! 

I'm sooo happy that I can't stop playing with it! I showed it to my husband, my daughter and my parents and they all were super amazed and so excited on how it turned out! 

And now I'm in the Christmas mood and can't wait to play again with all my winter stamps.
